Crucial Inspection Reminders (Please Read)

Please review the following important reminders if you have reserved Mexpert’s pre-purchase inspection services. Thank you for your attention.
0. Pre-Purchase Inspection
Pre Purchase Inspection does not guarantee sales discounts: While some customers have received additional discounts through our inspections, a pre-purchase inspection does not guarantee sales discounts for every buyer. The primary goal of a pre-purchase inspection is to provide an accurate evaluation of the vehicle based on current, as-is condition.
Auto Inspection is NOT manufacturer warranties: Pre-purchase inspections are intended for unbiased, objective evaluations of vehicles and are conducted based on their as-is condition at the time of inspection. Therefore, Mexpert does not provide any warranties for the vehicles inspected.
Time Punctuality: Our inspections typically last about one hour. Due to the tight schedules of our mechanics, it is crucial that all clients arrive on time for their appointments to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
1. (Important) Must Things to do after reservation at client side
Contact Sellers before Inspection: It has come to our attention that dealers, particularly private sellers, often inform customers that the car has already been sold by the time our customers and mechanics arrive for the inspection. To avoid such situations, please ensure you contact the seller to confirm the vehicle’s availability before the mechanic’s scheduled arrival. Additionally, notify Mexpert as soon as possible if there are any changes.
Approval Pre Purchase Inspection: Mexpert’s inspections are thorough and designed to uncover hidden issues, such as undisclosed accident histories, which may not be evident in standard car history reports. This level of detail can empower clients in negotiation, potentially causing some sellers to be hesitant about allowing an inspection. Therefore, it is imperative that each client secures approval for the pre-purchase inspection from the seller before arranging a visit.
2. Inspection Service Cancelation and Refund
Partial Refund and Credits: Mexpert offers a partial refund if a cancellation occurs at least 2 days before the scheduled inspection. In exceptional circumstances, if cancellation is unavoidable closer to the appointment, please contact us. We may provide partial credits for use in future services instead of a direct refund.
Non-Refund Policy for Inspection Services Due to Vehicle Unavailability or Seller Denial: In case where a client does not receive inspection services due to the vehicle being sold out or service denial by sellers or dealers, Mexpert does not issue refunds. This is because our mechanics have already arrive to the designated location. To avoid such situations, please confirm the availability of the car and ensure that the pre-purchase inspection has been approved by the seller before scheduling.
3. What does "Service Charge" include?
Distance Charge: The final price of the inspection includes a “Distance Charge.” Our Mexpert mechanics bring their own tools and scanners, which are essential for providing accurate evaluations across various auto brands and models. There is no charge for distances up to 5KM. Beyond this, an additional charge per kilometer applies.
Mechanic Reporting Service: After completing the inspection, Mexpert mechanics provide a detailed inspection report that includes media and images. Due to the large data and media files involved in these reports, Mexpert includes a reporting service fee.
Same-Day Inspection Extra Fee: A $15 charge applies to same-day inspections due to the abrupt scheduling and our non-refundable policy. To avoid this extra fee, please schedule your inspection several days in advance.
